I would wear my altama ripple sole jungle boots.
I wouldnt even go in merles, I dont rust merles they are not durable enough for the stuff I do sometimes.
That hippie was probly going barefoot.

I think running around barefoot is pretty risky these days. It might sound good at first, but no callous is tough enough to prevent a nail or piece of glass from lacerating the foot. All it takes is one wrong step. There is too much garbage laying around these days. We don't live in the world of 200 years ago. :thumbup: I like my bates boots for wet places.
