Jungle Training Equipent...

Last time I went to Venezuela I parked the car in the front yard of the house we were staying at. In the time it took me to walk from the driver side door to the trunk of the car I had a bout 50 ants crawling up my legs. I hit notes so high it would have made John Stamos's brother jealous..

Don't f%#k with the ants in South America.

I would have to dig a trench arround my sleeping area, fill it with gasoline and let it burn all night. Even at that I'd prolly not be able to sleep.
surviving here in north american out doors is good enough for me. I don't see myself traveling to the jungle any time soon.

I have three of their double hammocks (I have a big family ;)) they are the shiz!

The "testimonial" on their homepage is from me... about this outing. :)

Hammock + Beach camping trip= Instant crazy chick attractor. :D

I would never want to sleep on the floor in the Jungle. First off there is the moisture, then the bugs. Save that for the cave man camp outs in NA!

HOLY CRAP! I didn't even know the jungle training trip was an option. I honestly didn't know that was open to the public. I have been really considering taking the US woodland course but the jungle class would be a cool trip. And it really doesn't seem to be outrageous price wise. :D

I thought the samething, UNTIL I saw the airfare from Northern Ca.

the closest I have ever gotten to any jungle is the woods in Maine...so you are correct ;)

Oh, I don't know, I think the woods in northern Maine, in the middle of black fly season, could give south american ants a run for their money...
