Junkyard Dog II Composite

I just got one of these myself. I've had the SG2 model and the good old fashioned model, but I figured I'd finish it all off with the composite model. I traded for it from a member over in the For Sale section. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is #1 of 500 of the first prod. run. Very cool since it will not be used as I use the regular model all the time. I am impressed with the look of the knife and I'd like to get another to actually use (always hard for me to use a first prod run). I'll get another at some point, but I just wanted to check one out for now. Me likey!

I got one too because I missed my regular JYD, I traded away. I like the composite blade model even better! Can't beat it for the money. The G-10 is nice and grippy, the blade swings out with ease, very nice lock-up.

I guess I'm getting old...they're printing warning labels on handguns now? What's next? Bold printing on knife blades? "WARNING -- Edge capable of cutting stuff."

Ha! That gun is hardly new, it's an AMT .45 "BACKUP" it's at least 14 years old.
They are long out of business now even.
Lots of firearms have warnings on them, even Rugers.

I got my son one of these back at Christmas. He was out here this past Sunday, and was still bragging about this one. For thpse who don't really like the clip, STR makes a very nice foldover clip that literally buries the whole knife in your pocket............just the way I like it!
