Just a knife

A student of mine kept fretting over a knife and after a while I stated"its just a knife". Its been a little bit of humor for use, anyway. Here is one I have just completed. It is my San Mia ribbon Damascus of 1095 and nickel with core 1095. All Damascus fittings with Pre-ban elephant ivory (sterling silver pins). This is a big knife. Blade length is 9 3/4 inches, overall length is 14 5/8 and is over a 1/4 inch thick at riccasso with distal taper to tip and blade is 1 5/8 wide as is the ivory at the end of the handle. Hope you folks like it.

Beautifull knife Dan,i love the detail work on your ivory handles,it also makes for a very nice contrast with the damascus.
