Despite Rescue Riley's belly ache which led to no skills practice day yesterday; Marcelo and I still took advantage of the warm 33F day and went on a hike. We combined a couple of those pics with the pics of todays hike which is exploring the Mountain literaly in my back yard. Today's tempature is about 40F; just beautiful! I wish I could be out longer, but it is my anniversary today nd I have alot to do before my wife gets out of work.

This lil wilderness on this mountain was filled with tracks. Deer, squirrel, fox, and bobcat are known to live here. And I am pretty sure we spotted each of their tracks.

This looks like a claw mark from a cat, not 100% sure though





This lil mountain was a blast to hike, and we found some awesome spots for a campout. This mountain is also the border to Danbury, CT in which they are doing a bunch of construction. All this was a beautiful forest last year.:(



at least someone will have a nice house..



Then we found this. Can someone say insurance job...



Oh well, the other side of the Mountain gave nice views of the town I live in

Who owns the land you were hiking on??

I've been doing some snow hiking too. It's awesome!!

Where is that "Bum" anyway ... is he still alive :eek:?
 
Thanks for the pics, looks like a great view. When you see fresh burned hunks that used to be autos, quickly turn around and go the other way ;). Seen some strange stuff in the woods in Maryland too.

Some high claw marks for a cat, huh?
