I don't know...I think if the covers was stag,or jigged bone it would pass. If you did a pencil drawing of just the shapes of the handle and blade nobody would second guess it I believe. That being said the materials do fudge it a bit to far over the line of modern. To me this one hits the gray area more than the crk knife that stirred up such a fuss.I know, not as traditional as most. But, it’s still a slippie.

What a wonderful lineup! Thanks for posting them!Well, I hadn’t realized that the Zircuti handle of my new Peña would make it unsuitable for the traditional forum. Nor did I know there was a modern traditional thread that might’ve been a better place for it.
