The #48 Improved Trapper is my personal favorite -- sure hope GEC makes a 3 1/2" version in the near future

Field expedient sharpening. Spent all this money on an edge pro and I find its much faster to hold the stones and freehand the edge back on.

T. Erdelyi I couldn’t agree more. I use stones or my Sharpmaker. With carbon knives, I can get them sharp in a few passes. Even my CRKs sharpen up real quick hand sharpening.

I tend to use the Sharpnaker more today, because it’s very convenient and stores easily. I can also leave it out and it doesn’t bug those around me.
