This is a Hibbard Spencer Bartlett knife that my Grandfather carried in the "Spanish American War" in 1898. He snapped the secondary blade off in order to make it a pipe bowl cleaner, damper. When he died in 1952, my Dad took it and carried it for years and when my Dad died in 1999, I took it but have never carried it.
