No, it's not a left handed knife, it's a modified knife. The nail nick went away in the process of re-profiling the blade from the exceptionally wide spear point that it was, to the sleek and possibly more useful, clip point that it is now. Thanks, it's better for me. Lockbacks often don't need nail nicks and the spear was a little too wide IMO for general use. I carry it quite a bit now and love the ease of opening. Plus the ebony is extra special.Ahhhh. An improvement I think!

Yes, the two high points on the blade spine were leveled off. Sometimes curiosity gets the best of me. What do ya think?Did you modify the top of that knife into more of a drop point, or is that just the picture?
