Really nice work, it is a beautiful thing, Paua shell. For those that do not know what it is, Paua is New Zealand Abalone, sorry if i have butted in and stole your thunder.:rolleyes:

Sorry for the late reply, Tim. Went camping and just returned home. I'm not sure about the age of the Rooster knife. I bought it from another collector a few years ago and I believe he informed me of its manufacture date at the time, but l can't remember of course. :confused:
