Are you using a light box? Manual settings? Post processing? You've got skills my friend! But I guess that comes from having a camera in your hand since you were 23![]()
No light box - never tried one, but, probably should. All natural light outdoors - thats where I am comfortable with a camera - indoors not so much.
Manual settings - yes
Post processing - use Silkypix Raw image converter and finish in Photoshop, sometimes with different exposure layers blended.
Thanks for the compliment, however, you are perfectly capable of making some great photos yourself, friend.

Calypso blue drop-point Russlock

The background for this picture was an old antique feed scoop that hangs on the side of a cupboard in my house. I think it contrasts nicely with the blue handles.

My Uncle Joe - who nick-named me Primble when I was nine years old, used to tell people that Primble never met a knife he didn't like. Not entirely true, but, kinda - maybe.
