Just A Picture - Traditional Picture Show

Duncan

Love the water shot! Sure is beautiful there! Thank you again for the compliment on the old stag:thumbup:

The red bone can make a grown man weep!! That 25 is sooooo fine...some fine fine stag!!! That one should push some folks over the edge for Barry's 25s:thumbup::thumbup::D

Love the Fox HJ...wow!! And Charlies SFO is no question a looker and a user;)

Thank you Gev Sir, The water shot was with my gorgeous ppp Ebony that was lost - Paul made up for that BIG time by finding a replacement!!!
The 25 was a gift from a great guy - my friend saw this knife and his Jaw dropped, I made him a deal, that the knife was always mine - but he may use it, as long as he cares for it in the greatest way - he has kept to his word, and its a joy to see every time I visit - the care he bestows upon that knife - as he knows it is a special one.
Red Bones do the same to me my friend..and thank you for your very kind comments.

Very special stories, Duncan!! That is what its all about;):D

Great knives Dan. Especially like the Wostenholm.

Gevonovich, that split spring whittler is stunning.

Chris

Thank you very much, Chris! I lucked out on it...no doubt in my mind:D

Certainly, my friend!!! Good to have your presence more regularly now:D:thumbup:

IXL George / Wostenholm / Sheffield
3 & 1/4" Split Spring Whittler
The execution and walk and talk on this knife is super. I took an hour and a half to clean it up and it was a joy:D:thumbup:

Looks like I have your knife's long lost cousin! :D

It is superbly built, I love the way the liners transition, and disappear into the bolster

That's it!!! What a beautry!! The MOP has so much radiance which is usually difficult to capture. A few subtle differences; your long pull stops short of the plunge line and the bolster thread.

Do you have Curley's patent date on your nail blade?

Thank you so much for the post, Ryan!!:D:D

Yes, there's a couple of small differences here and there, and for some reason one of the differences is a missing patent date on the file. Do you know why it would be missing? Is mine a later sample?

I just don't know, Ryan. Interesting to ponder and I love the subtle "hand made" differences! Thanks again and if someone does know ...let us know:D

Thanks Chris, I appreciate that. Love the Lanny you're carrying today. Have a great trip my friend. Remember, pics. :D
