  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Just a Picture:

Isn't that yellow awesome. When I was with Pops we met with the folks at Norplex (they bought Westinghouse back in the day and are the only people that are making 'micarta' as they own the name) and told them we needed linen and canvas micartas in BRIGHT colors. They looked at us totaly confused and said we already make bright colors in our G10's. We told them this did not translate to anything close to the same thing. They hemmed and hawed. Never did it. Now this company is doing cloth phenolics in bright colors and I love it. Too bad Norplex wasn't smart enough to listen.

Seems like an easy enough idea to experiment with, too, as Norplex would have the means to make some experimental pieces easily enough. Why not see what's possible....?

I recently grabbed a Palmer, in tree frog Green linen and those scales have a lively, bright, green light to them.
