The pattern is the Puukko and it's a blade from the Mid-Tech line up, which were not entirely hand made versions of the Bushfinger, Kephart, HB, Runt, Duke, and Camp Knife...I think that's all of the Mid-Tech line up.I got this a while ago from a member, it is a Fiddleback blade but I believe was a collaboration with Old Towne Cutlery who use others’ knife blades and add a special handle. Their Due south is an in-house brand. I think the steel is s30vn or the like. Really like the Osage. I am wondering what Fiddleback blade it was, the name? KPH or KE bushie or the HB? Appreciated.

I think it’s essentially a guardless HB, if I remember correctly. Thanks, I don’t recall ever hearing about a puuko in the mid tech line, but thank you for the info, that will learn me right good. You would have thought a puuko would have a scandi grind, I am glad it is a different grind than that.
The Mid-tech Kephart was my start into Fiddleback Forge and Andy's handmade knives.Thsnks, I do have a production HB and a Kephart.View attachment 3180380View attachment 3180381View attachment 3180382
My HB first, then I was able to acquire cousins of Fiddleback knives, like my WAS knife (WA Surles now) and then a Bear Cub.The Mid-tech Kephart was my start into Fiddleback Forge and Andy's handmade knives.
Andy's Kephart is my favorite version of the Kephart. I miss my tapered 3/16 one I'll likely never see again most of all, but the midtech version is my favorite production bushcraft knife ever made. The Mid-tech Kephart was my start into Fiddleback Forge and Andy's handmade knives.
Wow love that one!!
Fortunately your Fiddleback, is not an arachnid...Made a friend the other day, when he crawled off one of the plants I was shooting images of for a post, onto the spine of the knife. I put him back after I took this shot
