yea i watched that one earlier and seen the other one he did with a busse, that is cool, but i want to see some real world use =) i dont have many concrete walls to cut through or missing steps to use my knife as
Well, ya just never know when you might need to cut through a wall, or need an extra step, DO ya? And if ya do, and you've got your ash, well then, ya got an extra step, a wall cutter, and a log splitter. (Small logs)
I have a BA and a Heavy Heart, both of which I've used to make kindling for the fireplace, and the Heavy Heart I've hammered through some pretty thick Hickory and Oak, with a Hammer on the spine with no problems. Busse knives are sharp enough to handle carving duties (depending on size and what you're trying to carve) fuzz sticks for instance, and tough enough to cut through CMU Walls and Cars.
Busses are WELL worth the money imo, especially since they are guaranteed.
I'd pick up the ASH before someone else does. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised
ETA: I've chopped through wood and dug the blade of my Heavy Heart into the slate under my wood stove and had no chipping of the edge! These are by far the best general purpose blades I've ever used.
ETA 2: And they're not bad throwers either.
