Here's the topo and the area I plan checking out this week-end with my friend.. I'll keep you guys posted with pictures.. garanteed!:D
Actually have my muskratman nessmuk I want to really put to the test and also my BRKT northstar.

A remote lake on Canadian shield land in Quebec????? Naw your joking right? Who would'a thunk!

Kidding - come to southern Ontario. The Great Lakes are the watershed here. Small tribs here and there, but no hidden lakes and little hidden forests around these parts. Ahw, I really miss living in Northern Ontario!

I miss Ontario... I spent a good chunk of every summer during my childhood in Algonquin Park. That's a pretty special place... Hope to get back there this summer. How many lakes are there in Ontario anyway? I remember someone telling me once.

I hear you on this one, same situation just across the river.

I'm looking into planning a canoe trip this summer with one of my buddies. We were thinking either Algonquin (been here before) or else maybe a little father north with either Killarney Provincial Park or else Pukaskwa National Park. Anyone have any experiences with either of these? Any other good suggestions within a reasonable drive from Detroit?
