this knife surely wont win any awards for beauty, but should do just the job, in the up comming hunting season.

I forged it from a file. thats something i havent done for a long time, but i guess i just had a bug to try it.

i surface ground all the teeth off the file first to prevent any stress risers or cracks during forging and heat treat.

the blade is flat ground, and clay quenched. the hammon came out nicely. the finish is just a 600 grit working finish, then it was etched.

handle is black linen micarta, and pins are nickle.

8'' o.a., blade is 3 1/2'', and the spine is just over 1/8''.

price is $105 shipped with a hand stitched leather sheath.

paypal is a-takach@takachforge.com

I'll take it. I've been looking at this but I have to pull the trigger now. Love the knife!
