So I went to strip the DLC off my Kershaw Blackout.
One coating...nothing. Second coating...nothing.
That is some tough stuff!
Ended up sanding it off. 2 1/2 hrs. and I'm only at 220 grit.
Last time I mess with DLC! Jeez...
Plus it was kind off a pain in the butt to put it all back togather. lol
DLC=diamond like carbon. Im not surprised it took so long.
It was unreal man. I started with 100 grit and wanted to stop about 10 min in.
Progress was soooo slowww. I really had to work on it!
Next time I strip a Becker will be a walk in the park! lol
I knew that DLC was tough, but not that tough! Whew...
It's cool though. Now I've got forearms to rival Popeye's!!
So, I got an Esee-4 yesterday that was OD/Orange. However I decided it was slightly too big to EDC.
So, I got an Esee-3 today. Esee-3 Mil in Black/Grey.
New sheath I got for my JetBeam BA10. Fits it like it was made for it. Not bad for $5.99 shipped:
