This one is basically my rendition of a Strider MFS, only in Doug Ponzio random pattern 1095/15N20 damascus. Knife is 8" overall and is probably at least 1/4" thick as it stands right now. Not heat treated yet, so it'll probably end up closer to 3/16" once finished. After heat treat, blade will be flat ground a LOT thinner, all the way up to the spine. Still gonna be a beefy lil sumbeeatch, though. ;) :)

Not sure if I'll handle it, wrap it, or leave it as is. I'm always interested in hearing comments; both good and bad.

Did a little more work on it tonight. Here it is, ready for heat treat. Probably going to use those ironwood scales in the pic. ;)

It's taking shape well......and Ironwood burl and damascus go together
so naturally.....this will probably be one that you'd rather keep...!

(Got it done yet..?...(LOL)...!

Nice! I think the iron wood and damascus will look amazing together.

Between this one and the photo's you sent me; I started making a damascus neck knife.
