I got bored and my first Becker, the OG Necker needed some love after I stripped its scales and gave them to the new guy. I had some spare Aboyna burl scales laying around so without further ado.

That copper should be nice and soft if you were thinking of peening your pins over a little.

Wow that is sweet. Will you cut it out so the opener still works?

excited to see finished product, a little sad though that you are getting rid of the bottle opener, I use that feature the most when camping with friends.........

Note: this is not my only bk11. My edc is a bk11 with saint cutlery scales that allow use of said bottle opener. I always have that on me.

Shaping up nicely

Looking good. Enjoying watching the progress. Are you gonna try to do any texturing or 3D shaping, or just round the edges?

A little uneven, but comfy.

Sexy pictures to come tomorrow. Might try to get the sheath done this week!

Sexy like, you might get your hot wife in the picture holding this knife or sexy like, knife porn. Those turned out bitchen by the way.

I might try to talk the Mrs into a photo, but she will most likely say no. But definitely knife pron. Oh yes... there will be pron.

And thanks clich. They are a little uneven, but feel amazing and not too shabby for my first shot if I say so myself!

I don't bother with the opener, I just use the back of the blade, lever against my finger and pop it off - kind of like using a Bic lighter.

Really nice job!
What did you use to sand them and make them shiny?

Looking forward to the pics!
