Scanned image of a Pease lockback with Pink Pearl scales and engraving by Fred Harrington. Fred is one of the few that does it all by hand. The pink pearl doesn't show up very well in this image. Knife is 4 3/4" closed with a 3 3/4" damascus blade.

Yeah, it took me a while. I think that I should add that the band thru the middle is part of the liner. The pearl is dovetailed into it and the bolsters too.

Dovetailing that center section and fitting the pearl must have been incredibly difficult...what a beautiful knife. It sure looks like a lot of time and thought went into it.
