Just because yu have a great edc: will it also be a great survival knife

Mission MPK or MPT. These knives can handle anything you throw at them and....they won't rust.

I've spent many a night and many a day in the woods.
I've hiked and camped in forest and in deserts, in flat-lands and in mountains.
And I've never even onced needed to chop wood or split logs.
If a man is smart, he can survive just fine with nearly any medium sized pocket-knife....even a swiss army knife or medium stockman.

Having said that....
More blades and more tools are defintely better than a single blade.
For survival, the multi-tool is the king.
