I wanted to see what a Marttiini knife was all about.
Saw one on sale for 17 bucks so I bought it.
I hope to test it out this weekend, but first impressions are:::::::
Its light wow really lightweight, seems as if the handle is hollow rubber and the guard appears to be hollow too.
At first I didnt like the light weight, but fooling around last nite I got to liking it. The blade is a little over 5 inches and the balance in my hand feels right. Even with the lightness, I was suprised.
I use it to cut up my pork chop and slice some tomatoes etc Cut well, the balance was right, no slipping on the wet greasy handle. (I'm a messy eater) I could cut slices you could see though.
I'll try some tougher stuff this weekend..
It was the Big game condor Basic, bowie style, rubberize handle 5" blade.
I also bought myself another Opinal,,, this one was in the "stainless" blade
Good knife hunting
