just bought a sebbie 1 hour ago...

Congrats on the purchase. When I got mine I was a little less than totally pleased eventhough I was told not to expect the heavens to open up. I admit I probably was expecting to hear the angels singing or something like that. After I got the knife and just used it, it made most of my other knives seem like a waste to have as I don't ever see myself carrying anything else I have as long as the Sebbie is with me. It just excels at being a good, reliable knife. Enjoy it.
 
i handled a sebenza at a knife shop saturday and i hate to say it but i was very dissapointed. i compared it to my tnt and i think the tnt is better looking and it was smoother opening. it just didnt seem like anything special, to me, i dont want to be getting hate mail, i personally just didnt think it was that great. i dunno maybe someday ill get one but for now ill just keep the tnt.
 
Of course to each their own and their perception of a knife is not always the same as others. The Mayo TNT is all good but not my cup of tea. The Strider SNG is great but again, I rather have my Sebenza Classic anyday. Enjoy what you have and go from there.
