from a long time forum member. I'm looking forward to this one. I hope it fits my hand. Just had to kick back a small sebenza for being to small.

I'd like to hear from you guys that have one of these. Short blurbs on the likes and dislikes. Thanks g

I like mine not the most comfortable but good enough and I find the backspacer adds a lot of traction and looks good.

I love my Techno. Not the best slicer, but it is sure one solid tank of a knife!

I am really liking mine.

I find it to be just about the perfect office knife for me. It is small enough not to cause alarm with my co-workers, but is solid enough to take care of anything I need to do at work. It gets carried a lot.

I love mine! It kicked the Sage 2 out of my pocket. It's a bit short, but the build really makes up for it.
I'm sure some will disagree, but I much prefer it to a small sebenza.

It sucks for a lefty. I sold mine.

IMO Pros, great size, nice steel, nice blade shape, love the wire clip.

Cons, no real choil or groove to stop your hand from slipping. The cut out for the spydie hole isn't wide enough to comfortably open. Maybe as a righty, but it sucks as a lefty. Not a fan of framelocks either, but this one does look nice in spite of that.

It's a righty world for sure.
I happen to like Ti framelocks a lot. But then I'm a righty. I'm not sure this knife will be big enough for my liking. I just sampled a small sebenza and found it to small but that was primarily due to the thumb studs being so tight against the frame and resulted in me not being able to open one handed. I went thru the big folder phase and finally decided knives with blades 3" long and around 4" closed were the right combo for me. My new Caly3 is damn near perfect. So, I'll let you guys know what I think about the Techno, I hope I can operate it with one hand.

Powernoodle say its in the mail this morning. Now thats some good news!!

I think you'll have no prob at all deploying the blade with one hand.

It's perfect. Like a small sebenza and a VECP had a child! I love it. You can open it with one hand. Takes a bit to learn. Also flick it outward. Keep your thumb going left and toward your body quicly. It's pretty easy. You have to grip it with pinky on the ti, the other two fingers over the blade while closed. You middle finger will actually rest in the depression of the spydie hole. Finally your index will be almost flush or overhanging on the pivot. ;) I didn't like mine once I first held it. Give her some time. She is not ready to go right away. Ha You will then realize the genious behind the design and love her whole.....

Here is my story...I purchased the Techno when it first came out and then sold it to purchase a Small Sebenza 21. I immediately regretted selling the Techno, purchased another one and sold the Small Sebenza 21. The Small Sebenza is a nice knife, but I don't miss it.

In my experience the Techno can hold its own against the Small Sebenza and it is half the price.

Held a Techno in person a couple of months ago. I really liked it and will eventually get one... I really like the backspacer, I feel the blue matches quite well with the titanium (sort of like how the blue thumbstud on plain-jane sebenzas look sweet).

Only reason why I didn't buy it at that moment was because I just bought a small sebenza a week before. I would have had the hardest time choosing which one to carry each day.

I am a lefty and really like my Techno - the way to open lefty is with your middle finger in the hole on the blade. Love how solid it is, wish it were 1.5x the size.

I'm mostly a ZT, BM and CRK fan, but the Techno is one of my favorites of all my knives. The more I use it and carry it the more I like it. It does have a CRK quality about it.

The Techno came the other day...fat little pug. But I can open it one handed which I could not with the small sebenza.
I will say it didn't bump the CF Caly3 out of my pocket.

It's a superb knife. After a couple of months of use, I love it even more.
There's not a thing wrong with this knife. And the XHP is amazing: holds an edge through hard use, and sharpens back up in a jiffy.
It's shorter than the small seb, but the stout handle fills the hand nicely.

The Tecno is a great knife and I carry it often. Used to carry it with the clip, but now it goes clipless at the bottom of the pocket (to me, the clip works for jeans, but not for slacks). The only negative is that the knife could be substantially thinner, but that's a minor issue.

The handle of the Techno is really ergonomic. I'm not able to let my hand and fingers slip on the edge.
The curved titanium handle resting on the meat of the palm prevents from that.
Also the absence of real choil offers more edge in that short package. YMMV. :-)
