Just bought my first 110

Thanks! I am thinking to get more to sell in the future. What being a limited edition and all.

Uhhhh...you know that they're basically making these for a year, correct?

That said, there ARE different versions of the knife, so hey, maybe you're onto something!

Cool knife. Go easy on it when sharpening though. My Sharpmaker takes next to nothing off a blade. But my Lansky kit took enough off enough to be noticeable a few years back. The 110 was one of my ''learning how to sharpen a knife'' victims along the way. :)

I was checking them out the other day at a sporting goods store, and I must say, I was a bit ticked and pleased to see the standard 110 that comes with the leather sheath. I bought mine a couple years back and it came with the nylon one. Is the leather sheath standard again, or did I just stumble upon an old one?

If you get one at Wally World, it's going to have the nylon sheath. But most other places will have the leather one

Great knife, by the way. I have about 6 of them.

I was in high school when it was first introduced. Every country boy wanted one, most of us couldn't afford one. I finally bought my first a few months back--I bought two of them at the time.

IIRC, stainless wasn't in normal use for knives back then. Stainless had a reputation for being hard to sharpen and was avoided by a lot of people at the time. Things do change in 50 years.
