Yep, pretty much right now... My latest a Double Talon Battle Mistress, was ordered on 12/31/15 and was billed on 5/18/16.
You walked into a break in "Operation Two Weeks" where a new knife or two is offered every week on Wednesdays. Busse will resume offers after Blade.

I don't know about smarterer, but I wanted to see the pic, so here ya go! I just swapped out the "url" for "img" on the tags. Sorry, but I don't know how to flip it around without re-uploading. (I've found that Tinypic will flip pics around for no reason unless I crop them first, which seems to make the orientation stick.)

What is everyone's opinion on sheaths? It didn't come with one. Kydex or leather? Any particular companies?

Thank you Apophis for posting my pic.

Ruggdogg, I bought a Rainwalker sheath for the BM and I had Chad at pirtlemade sheaths send me one of his for the Ash2 pictured above. He's currently making me a sheath for the Battlesaw. Both are top notch and expertly made and both are leather. I really like the Pirtlemade the best however.
 
Buy Brown sheaths are my first stop.

Kydex. He is a collector and crazy user, so many times he has the pattern already.

I've owned AZWelke, Mashed Cat, and used quite a few others. All great.

For leather, there are a bunch of great makers too. Armorall leather, Leatherman, Chuddy Bear. There are many!

I think leather for looks and Kydex for hard use, its a shame to blemish those beautiful leather rigs.

You really can't go wrong with any of the guys <leather or kydex, your choice> who are members here!

Top-Drawer artists that will stand behind their artworks...I've had great experiences with all the major players.

They are great!

Really top notch. I got one second hand. It was for a FBMLE, and mine had an altered handle (hand shaped). They noticed from a pic, and offered to have me send it on in to be tightened to fit the handle better.

Good people.


I tend to snag one from which ever maker I like that will work.


Okuden is another really solid sheath maker that I overlooked to mention. Though I don't see too many of his around.

Good thing for you that you saw it before I did. As soon as I went in the exchange and saw SWATmandu, I clicked in and was on my way to buying it. Then I saw you had grabbed it. Congratulations, but I'm envious. And it would have only been my third SWATmandu. My favorite blade so far.

Thank you! It was definitely all by luck and timing. I had just started looking into Busse that day and decided I wanted one with INFI steel and that one popped up. Then I had to decide if it was to much but couldn't take to long researching so just bit the bullet lol
