  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Just bought myself a present

Hushnel, have you looked at TVM, Tennessee Valley Muzzleloaders, Got some great guns and are really nice people to work with.

I've come across them, GM barrel is a good old pole. I'll give them a call and see what they can do for a lefty, though I have a sneaking suspicion that my wife has ordered the Lefty Southern Mountain kit from Track of the Wolf, I'll know for sure on the 25th :)

That's awesome  Be sure to take pics of the build up, I'm sure I'm going to pick your brain, the more I think about it the more I want to build one. Chris

I've built four or five over the years. Some are very straight forward with only some wood working and finishing to do others nothing fits and in many ways they are much more fun.

I started one from scratch a while back and only managed to get the lock and hardware finished, carving the curly maple for the lock, barrel, ramrod hole and general profile became a major road block. Still, when I can find the time, I'll finish it.
