Just bought this.............

Nice catch. As someone once said, "You can't not have a nine."

Well I've been hem/hawing for a long time, while in the meantime they went from around 70 bucks to around 90. And this "You can't not have a nine." rattling around in what I amusingly call a brain, was kind of the final push (thx for reminding me). When I saw this one with the extra sheath, although not the bargain from hell, a decent/fair price, considering I don't have to bother with finding a hard sheath.....I said...screw it....take the plunge you indecisive coward. Waiting has already cost you bucks. I just hope I can find a way to like the handle, which is part of what held me back ( I have small/med. hands) Time will tell.

Snagged it off the Exchange, eh? Nice.

Don't worry about the handle; it's not that bulky.

You can sand the scales, either on the outside to improve the contours to better match your grip and/or on the handle side to reduce their width.

And there are plenty of DIY scale customizers here to copy from and get assistance.

The bk9 is a great knife, probably my most used becker. Congrats on the purchase, hope it serves you well.

Ummm...OK. I have no clue what you mean. shrug

He's talking about the color of those desert series knives, as I recall Ark got teased pretty good for buying the Tan/Pink one. Ethan calls them "Titty pink". Yours is black so no worries.

I have small hands and love the handle on the 9. The 2 is fine, but the extra fraction of an inch in stock thickness is noticeable. The 9 is perfect for me, I hope it is for you as well.

All righty then. LOL And thx all for comments on the handle.

Congrats man! Looking forward to seeing what you think when it arrives.
You can't not LOVE a 9!

Well, my BK9 came in the mail today folks, and it rocks! Can't believe I put it off for so long because, somehow, I'd gotten the impression that the handle was really better for larger hands. Thanks for setting me straight guys, cause it fits like it was made for me personally. Now just have to go down to the river and find something to chop! LOL

Well, the BK9 chops like a mofo. The Cro-van takes and holds a great edge. But, I guess I'm preaching to the choir here. lol Now I only must decide which BK, 2 or 15, will be my second Becker.

Well, you've already got a 'large' so I would recommend the 15 for the 'medium' role followed by a 11/14/24 for the 'small'.

The 15 is my fav Tweener. And its on sale! Jump while you can.

And, again, congrats on getting the 'King'.

15 is on sale where? I don't know what you mean by "11/14/24".

3 BKs with the same size blade. The 14 and 24 are the same, except the 24 is different.
