Just braggin...

You East Texans... Jeez...

Down in South Texas we are classy. We use our bandannas for napkins! ;):D

My preference for westerns on a romantic date are the following:

1- HIGH NOON... Gary Cooper showing us what being a REAL man is all about... It is about duty and honor. A man must be a man.

2- The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance... Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne, et al... just doesn't get much better. A fantastic story about the difference between what life should be (theoretically) and what life is (in fact). Some themes that exist to this day.

Both are black and white flicks... and thus romantic by Texas standards.

WOW now that is something to brag about alright.!!!

Way to go bro, and with matching Busse's.

Dont get any better!!!!

I've never seen High Noon --- going to have to remedy that

Never seen High Noon? Chec out "The Plainsman", another Gary Cooper classic where he plays Wild Bill H Congrats on a great holiday. I have to brag that my wife is like me. Lucky for me she is as happy to ignore these holidays as I am.

Eli, I'm glad to see you're a happy and contented husband. It's always good to find another member of the club.:)

You really must watch High Noon. A classic story acted with real skill and passion. It rewards repeat viewing.

We moved the kitchen table to the living room and had dinner in front of the fire place and stereo

Good thing I had enough wood to make it through the night.
