Just Brought Home A ZT 0200ST

Sexy knife with what looks like a perfect combo edge, the right type of serrations and the right amount.

I have been thinking about getting one of these for a long time. This and the BM 710 are two knives where the looks kind of pull me towards them.

You guys who have said it is your favorite ZT, what are some of the reasons?

It's size, strength, build quality, and ergonomics are PERFECT! I especially like the slimmer longer blade shape. The 0300 series blade is a little too wide and not pointed enough. I also like the non-assisted opening better.

Not only is the handle thick and beautifully textured, but this knife has a thumb ramp long enough that I can naturally extend my thumb forward and have it fall "on" the ramp instead of halfway on the blade spine (short thumb ramps are a pet peeve of mine).
The edge is longer than the others. The 0200 has nearly 4" of edge length, but only 3.75" extends in front of the handle, more cutting power in the same package.
The thumb studs are nice to use. I think this is the only knife in my entire collection I can say that about. Nearly all the others have had the studs ground off, but these are just far enough out of the way that I can still cut stuff and sharpen the knife without bumping into the studs all the time. They are also positioned to work very well and feel fantastic.
Manual flipper. I love AO in some designs, but in something that I intend on using hard it can be nice to not worry about getting dirt in hard to reach places. That flipper also ensures that in the very unlikely situation where the lock does fail, you won't get bit.

In general I love the knife for its extremely well made Liner Lock (IMO second only to the Spyderco Military, and only by a bit), and overbuilt design.
The stop pin is .156" diameter, solid, press fit in place. Not a tube with screws in it. The pivot pin appears to be the same or a little thicker, again, solid, not a tube with screws.
Thick liners make the whole thing very sturdy.
The pocket clip carries deep. It's not fancy, it doesn't dig into your hand, it just does the job without any fuss.
Fit and finish on the ZT line so far has been stellar.

Even with the silly re-curve, I give this knife a bazillion stars out of ten.

I think the pivot pin is closer to .187 ( 3/16" ), or even maybe .250" ( 1/4" ). It is a solid piece of steel.
