I already have a quote posted, but I remember this one (have seen it in several different phrases) from a Bruce Willis movie around 2003-2004ish, thought it fit the subject of the movie very well;

OK, last one I promise. My father was a farmer & custom home builder (go figure), & this one was routed into a sign in his shop in one of our barns:

Have no clue where that originated from, except it's true because I witnessed it when dad was working on some of the farm machinery . . . :D

As I was a young man and just started go out dancing in the barns in the middle of nowere I was close to a starting fight and one of them was a wellknown fighter and this was what he said to the other man to get it started, and the other man was drunk and stupid enough to take that chalenge, he got beaten up by the rawhide.
It gave me a fadded taste of myself being stupid as I as a youngster thought it to be thrilling in a way and hoped the offended man would punch the rawhide out. Afterwards I thought this was a stupid thought. The experienced and trained hand always wins over the unexperienced.
There and then I desided fistfighting wasnt for me and that dessision has worked good for me ever since, and hasnt ment that I cant take a stand about things, even when threatened.
The quote stuck to me and is a reminder to dont get tricked into a situation. Better stear the wheel self to solve a situation a way I myself can handle.
