Just curious if anyone has had the USPS lose a khuk.

It's been 11 days and still haven't seen anything. Emailed Auntie and she said give it a few more and if still nothing she will take care of.
I'm just curious while waiting patiently if anyone has had a Khuk lost by the usps?
 
Never. But I only got 12 so far.
Also I'm not aware of anybody else losing one to USPS.
I might be completely wrong but Auntie could have tracking numbers. She might just not go through the trouble of emailing them to us since nothing serious ever happened and hopefully it'll stay that way.

I've had one or two that took a couple weeks to finally show up, never had one that didn't eventually show up though.
 
I've had a couple scares, but they've all shown up at some point. Once I actually emailed her to ask if/when it was sent, and she had the shipping date right on hand. She'd sent it over a week before, and it showed up the next day. I would give it another day or two, then let her know if it hasn't arrived. My fingers are crossed for ya!
 
Just last week I finally received one that wondered around for two week. Not from HI but with a Bura VUK and Tarwar, a Mirali CAK and an unmarked HI antler handled skinner. I was sweating bullets.
 
I have always received in 2-3 days, never lost one, and my collection is about 45 strong and counting.

As far as I know, she ships 2 day air, and all the packages have automatic tracking numbers.

Priority mail generally takes about two to three days. Take the tracking # to USPS and have them check the parcel.
Keep me update.
 
Yangdu probably has it. I'll let her know so we can get to the bottom of this. Waiting on a khuk is painful. I've been there.
 
I usually have them on my doorstep before they get the tracking number registered. I had one that Aunti forgot to put in the mail but I bought another knife a few days later and she discovered my other one so she sent them both together. Worked out well because I only got sent to the doghouse once:D
It usually takes 2 days to TX.
 
A little background first. Down here on rural Puerto Rico, unless the package fits in the mailbox , all you get is a pink slip to pick it up the next day. The post office doesn't even ask for an id if you have the note. If your less than honest neighbor gets a pink slip he can claim the package no questions asked.

My first klvuk got delivered to another person. Trying to prove that was a female dog...
Gave up on that one, bought another one .
Second one arrived perfectly and early.

I can understand that! I used to live in Tortola BVI and all you had to do was address it with your name and at most say "West end, East end, or whatever end of the Island you lived on", and "General Delivery". They usually got it done tho. There were no street signs or names so it was a bit confusing sometimes to ask for directions. Landmarks were used to locate more accurately. British Island tho. They should know what a Khukri is:D
 
No it never showed up unfortunately :(
Auntie was kind enough to issue a refund to my paypal.
I assume and hope USPS covers it on her end.
It wasn't meant to be this time I guess.
