A while back someone commented that I might own a lot of CR knives - I actually have 2! An Umfaan that I carry every day and a Helix Lock that Chris made for me way back in 1986 (it is always in my purse but I rarely use it). When we get going with the Mnandi, I plan to retire my Umfaan and carry one of those.

The person who will own quite a good collection of CR knives is our 10 year old son, Tim. We keep #1 of everything we make and this is Tim's inheritance. Contrary to some insinuation, we don't make pots and pots of money and a knife collection might be about all Tim inherits from us!!

Right now, Tim's CR collection comprises a (rejected) Shadow I (with the edge dulled) for "army" games, and a wooden sword (that Chris and Tim made together) for "knights" games!!

Anne

Anne,
Far more important than any knives or “pots and pots” of money are the values and mores that Tim will inherit from you and Chris.

Your words, your philosophies, and the actions of your company and its employees speak to the mettle of which you and Chris are made. No better inheritance could you leave your son.

This is really all my parents left me but far richer am I for their efforts than had they compromised their values for monetary gain.

Best wishes,
dan

Hi, How about 20++ sebenzas of all sizes and configurations. No gold coin yet however. I believe they are one of the finest folders custom or not anywhere. Certainly one of the strongest locking systems. Some say the beauty is lacking , but I find them very ruggedly appealing to the eye. The wood inlays very much so.
They are addictive once one gets started on these little beautys though, so watch out all you sebenzaholics out there.
