Was sitting down getting ready to put on a second set of orange G10 scales I received today.
The GSO 4.1 slipped out of my hand straight downward.. either the tip or the belly hit my toe.... started bleed'in like a stuck Pig.
About a ½ inch long cut.
I'm on a daily 81 mg aspirin regimen, so isn't clotting too fast.
I have a piece of gauze on tight now with Gorilla tape.

Yea, next time I'll have shoes on.
I bought a second set of scales in orange G10 from them, so when I go camping or into the woods/forest I'll put them on
to lessen the chance of not seeing it if it happens to drop.
The G10 came out nice, sort of a flat eggshell finish, no gloss at all.
I really like the O.D. Micarta scales it came with.

Yes...
You could've cut your finger with a (Roger)Linger, hacked off a bunion with an (Ken)Onion or sliced your leg with a (Todd)Begg. :D ;)

Yes... could have been a lot worse!
I'm very careful when handling a knife, it's been a long time since I've cut myself, but it usually happens when you least expect it.
Good thing I didn't hit a vein.

I'd get that looked at. If it penetrated the joint capsule, you may be in for a nasty surprise later on...

Thanks, the Doc is actually right up the block from me, I'll go later today.
It's 2:25 a.m., I don't feel like getting in a cab and going to the hospital.
I'll take the gauze off in another hour or so and if it seems to have clotted a bit, I'll apply a strip of 3M stri-strip across the cut to try to keep it closed.
