Just discovered Emerson knives. WOW!

My cqc7 was 5oz the new zt 0630 is 6.3 I think it is worth the extra 1.3oz...

CQC-7 weighs 4.0 oz and a CQC-8 is 4.6 oz according to Emerson's site. 2 oz is noticeable on a 3.5"ish knife, definitely enough to move a knife from being efficient to overbuilt.

Some people don't mind the extra weight, but it's definitely enough to factor into the purchase of an EDC folder.

No his was an Emerson. I don't know the grind exactly. I just know it was tanto.
Personally I don't like chisel grind blades. So if I were to go with an Emerson it would need to be the 7V right?
The ZT I would go with is the 620 with the DLC Elmax blade. It is a frame lock. The Emerson's are liner locks right?

Most are. Check out the HD-7, HD-12, and the new Iron Dragon. :D

LOL yea I need a bunch of knives. I have quite a list that I have accumulated.
Like I said before I want a ZT 0562 as well. Would like a 0550, a 0350, an XM-18, a small Sebenza, now an Emerson or two. Just learning their models.
This knife will be my first expensive folder though. I have quite a few ESEE's and a custom Woodlore Bushcraft knife but I have never spent more than $50 on a folder.
This will be my only expensive blade I will buy this year so I want to pick a good one.

The Emerson website http://www.emersonknives.com has descriptions and pictures of all the current models, and some discontinued models.
