Just finished,A pair of Dragon Slayers...one in Damascus(pics)

Wow those are huge! Much bigger than I thought....the knives that is...:D Seriously Bruce, super nice work. I still like the damascus one better but the other piece is beautiful too. How long of a waiting list do you have?

Thanks everybody..
Peter,I can start on one for you in November..
Since all this terrorist stuff and us going to war,The orders have stopped again,I am hoping that they start picking back up soon..
I have found out that this is happening to allot of us Makers..

Nick,The guards ar mild steel and once they are polished out,I clean with acetone and don't touch with bare fingers again, put in oven at 450-500 degrees (different ovens are different, just look for the color you want)for a hour or two, again depending on ocen. The color wont look as deep or as dark when it comes out of the oven untill you give it a good coat of oil while hot then let cool..Don't buff again or you will take your color off..
Bruce

Thanks for all the positive comments, guys. The damascus version will be on its way to my hot little hands, shortly. I sent Bruce the Harley primary chain to make the damascus from and specified the change in the point of the blade, but the rest is Bruce's magic. Several of his pieces of art grace my collection already, but this has to be the pinnacle. What better than a knife made from a Harley part for an old Harley rider. This is the third knife Bruce has fashioned out of a Harley part for me, but the first with flames on the blade. Reminds me of the flame paint jobs so popular on custom Harleys. Now, if I could just stop shaking in anticipation. Woo-Hoo! Way to go Bruce.

Glad to here that you like it Charlie...I was kind of tickeled with it myself...
Thanks for all the kind words everybody,It makes it all worth while when you know that people like what you make.:D
Bruce

Those are fantastic, Bruce. The etched flames look great! Have you considered doing a calendar featuring your wife displaying your knives? I bet that would be a popular item! :D

Dan

The one on top is MINE!!!!

It looks great and I like it better than the Damascus – just a matter of taste (or lack thereof…)

Bruce – you outdone yourself!!!

Can’t wait to get my also shaky hands on it…

I'm disgusted with those two knives! Disgusted that I didn't make em! Hot damn those are two fine bowies Bruce!!! You are one awesome knife maker!!

HDCharlie & Blilious,
You guys are going to be thrilled
I haven't been able to put down my Ebony & I vory Evans Bowie yet!
Tell us more when you get them in hand :D

there lies the problem...

I have to deliver it first to BF member Jake Evans - who keeps them for me...for fear of loosing it on the way to Israel (not to mention crazy customs rates)

I then have to wait until, I or one of my friends, will get to the states to collect it with him...

Ahhh - the wait, the wait....

Blilious,Glad you like it..I hope you don't have to wait to long to get it..
Pretender.I don't know if I could talk her into one,as she says that she is to fat in these pictures as it is,You should here her fuss when she is in her Bikini.
Thanks everybody for the kind words..
I reall really do apriceate them.
Bruce

As always Bruce, you make me sick:D And you are still my hero!
Really beautiful work. Nice pics too.
Mark

Glad you like them,I really don't mean to make anybody sick:D :D
Just trying to do my best.It has taken a long time and a lot of Blood Sweat and Tears to get to this point and they are far from where I want them to be..
Bruce

Bruce! Man, both EDSs are absolutely gorgeous. And I love the way you curved down the pommel a bit more to improve grip retention. A fella could take on a passel of pesky dragons with those babies. Way to Go!!

Mario

Bruce,
Ditto what everyone else said. It is always a pleasure to see your work.
Regards, Greg

Bruce

Incredible work, as always! You da man :D :D :D You should have someone model your knives more often, it lends scale to your work and makes it look even more impressive, IMHO.
