Just finished up yesterday. Still needs makers mark and final edge. It's out of a .130 Alabama Damascus billet, high flat grind, desert ironwood burl sanded to 1500, .058 orange g10 spacers, nickel silver pins.

Heat treating done by Darrin Sanders. Great guy to deal with!!!!!

Anything pop out at you guys that I needs to change? Do you thing the front pin needs to be set back a bit further or is it fine?

This one has been a joy to work on. It's turned out better than I expected. I could have never done any of this without the help of the great guys on this forum. I'll say it again. Thanks guys!!!!

Really slick! I'd be proud to have made that. One thing that is just my preference is pin size. You have this beautiful Damascus and pretty would and the large pins distracts from that I feel. But beautiful knife!

Very nicely done. Your stuff is really coming along. The grain of the wood goes well with the pattern in the damascus.

Nah it's ok I guess....HAHA Jay just kidding. You make it look too easy. That is sweet man!

One thing I did on this one was I took and traced out my handle on a piece of paper and cut out the handle and placed it over the scales so I could see what the actual placement was that I wanted on the scales and was able to pick out the best figure on the scale.

That is one sweet looking knife. Looks like you did a great job and I love the combination of Damascus and ironwood. Very impressive.

I find the handle shape slightly boring but that would be a serious nit-pick...

Clean plunges, tight fitting pins, excellent fit/finish work--you did an fantastic job! The blade and wood are gorgeous!

Noob question. What is the function of the spacers aside from aesthetics. Shock protection?
