Hello all,
Just make this little baby by special request.... the "Bushpack".....

A small backpack that holds a few necessities and a hawk. The customer told me what he needed it to do and I went with it. This was alot of fun. I think the pics are self-explanatory but if you have ?'s.... fire away.

Whatchathinkin?
Rick

Neat little pack man, looks like a good 'possibles' type bag. Your work has a very distinctive feel to it.

Looks good - narrow enough that it'll stay put and be out of the way. I like how you did the closure - simple, secure, and dry.

Just curious, why the extra piece to make the loops at the end of the straps rather than just folding the leather strap over ?

Once the paracord is adjusted to length, I'll bet that wears really well. Until I got a camelback I didn't realize how useful a small bag like that can be.

Oddly enough, I messed around forever to get the straps feeling right.... so they wouldn't twist or dig in. The soft (but thick) leather loops allow the strap to sit flat against the body while still twisting to fit the bag.... they swivel on the rivets BTW.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone.

wow.. that is way cool rick... great work once again man...

i like the sleek narrow design... it keeps the pack in the center of the back...the leather molle straps are a nice touch too..:D

DAMN!! Thats sweet! Great work Mag!

Very cool. Looks comfortable and carries a nice sized hawk. I especially like the closure and the way it keeps the elements out.

That is just cool as cool can be! What do you use to do your stiching? You have a Tippman or other sewing machine for that ? -Matt-

I'm impressed - it looks great! Looking at the pics, it looks like it would be able to handle multiple carry positions (not just backpack, but shoulder strap, perhaps even buttpack). I really like it. Would be a perfect day-hike bag.

That is awesome. This is the first I've seen your work. Do you offer items like these or are they custom jobs only done every now and then?

I carry a Hawk myself, this looks like a great little daytrip bag.

Every stitch is punched with a singlr point awl and hand sewn "one stitch at a time.... no machines here!!!! lol.

I rarely take orders anymore... I make what I'm inspired to make and they always seem to find a buyer.... most of the stuff never makes it to the "Currently Available" page of my website. You can find my site in my profile.... the pics are WAY outdated, tho........ never get the time to fix it up.... lol.
