Let me know what you think.

Steel is 5160 Spring Steel.

Heat Treatment:
Heated in a forge to approximately 1500 to 1550 degrees Fahrenheit, until blade became nonmagnetic, then quenched in 125 degree quality oil. Tempered the blade to a straw hardness @ 425 degrees for 1 hour, letting it air cool and repeating once more. Blade was file tested and is shown to be very hard.

Finish: Fine satin finished.
Handle: Handle is made of Ebony & Osage Wood.
Sheath: Sheath is hand stitched out of dark brown gator hide.

Measurements:
Total Length: 12 ½ ", Blade Length=7 ½ ", Blade Width=1 ¾ ”, Blade Thickness= 3/8"
Handle Length: 5", Handle Width: ¾ "

Below are pictures of the finished knife.
Thanks

Not my style, but seems to be well executed. The yellow/black contrast of the osage and ebony is pretty cool. What's the hole for in the ricasso?

I like it. The sheath looks really good as well.

How much does it weigh?

Thanks for the look see. I'm real proud of this one. As far as how much it weighs, it's around 18 oz. I put the hole there, just to give it a different look, but also so you could look through it. ;)

Thanks everyone for your input. This one sold right out of the gate! Can't wait to get on my next one. It's very addicting!

I think its for some sort of mounting system so it can be afixed to a stout shaft and be used as a lance like weapon.

That's some mighty bold work. Well done. Looks like it needs alligator hide to sheath that thang!
