Just finished this one up for a guy I work with. He brought in his favorite el cheapo knife that he carries everyday and wanted to know if I could copy it but make it with better materials. It's not my kind of profile but I thought if give it a whirl. Cut out from .130" Alabama Damascus billet and scales are figured Desert Ironwood and black G10 spacer w/nickel silver pins. Sheath needs a bit of work yet to tidy it up.

That looks good. Holster/sheath is nice.

I have concerns about the strength of the blade with such a large hole at the ricasso, but if used without side stress, it should be OK.
 
Looks good! Not the style I would want to carry everyday but I'm not! Looks like it would make a good little skinner.
 
I thought it was kind of odd that he wants to use it as an EDC but he really likes the feel. Hey...... "different strokes for different folks".
