I just could not pull myself to put scales on this one so i cut out the cross to ballance it. This one is 1095/15n20 damascus clay hardened and deep etched.
6 1/2" oal with a 3" blade. Give me some ideas for a sheath folks! Oh and it is ground not hammered!
Thanks for looking and commenting.

I like the design it is similar to the first knife shape object I hammered out several years ago. Although, yours is much nicer.

I would have a cut out in the sheath to match the cross. The damascus will show through the cut out.

Nice one Robert. A flat sheath with the blade seated to the bottom of the cross. Make it tight.

Very nice!
Perhaps a sheath with a cross spared out as well, so it shows the beautifull damascus when it is sheated.

Thanks for the comments and sheath suggestions, here is what i came up with a little cross draw with a window on both sides from 7-8 oz. veg. tan dyed black.

That is a very nice knife and sheath Robert!!!!!
How did you make the cross piercing in the tang?
It's so crisp and looks perfect!
