Used the handle from a standard pattern I had only the customer wanted a longer blade. It's a hair over 7 inch blade. Black ash burl, cpm-154 stainless, 2 tapered tang (will be doing this ALOT more) dovetailed 416 bolsters. I've got to go out of town for a couple of days so when I get back I'll get the edge on it, finish the sheath and clean up all the finger smudges. Let me know what ya think good or bad.

Very nice job Ryan !!! Although you said there is a little clean up to do yet, it looks to have very good fit and finish.

Looks like an excellent Camp style blade. Popping kindling for the fire, a little clearing here and there, even fillet some fish if need be. In fact, it looks like it would work darn near anywhere, from the kitchen to the woods   I like it ! Well done bud

Other than your place to mine, no. I think you really nailed that one.

Man, its really beautiful. I'm not usually into bolsters, but your thick ones there look fantastic!

I love looking at process pics. You can see the knife, all glopped up and glue covered, then in the next frame you see the finished product, which in this case looks very nice. I wouldnt change a thing. Finish the sheath and send it out.

Edit to add...One thing I started doing is beveling the inside of the lanyard loop with a regular countersink from home depot. It will keep the sharp edges from cutting into the lanyard.

Thanks for the comments guys. I actually did a build along in this right here in this link (it's a good clean site) and actually showed how I dovetailed bolster a time or two (not anymore). It's a step by step picture from design to finished knife. In the last post about the knife I said to countersink to remove all the burrs in the tube and then I took the picture without doing it :D. Thanks again
