Say someone handed you $600 dollars and said you could only use it for knives. Pretend you don't have any right now and try to cover everything from church to extreme heavy duty use. :) Pics!!!

A small Sebenza and a ZT 0551. That should just about cover it. I might even be able to buy a Sage 1 with the leftover money.

Id get a pimped out sebenza, or maby an xm18. really any good high end folder would be for me.
 
None? I would focus on kitchen & tableware, then a machete (if that counts as a knife), then a folder. Rest I would cover with my already owned axes/hatchets, saws, prybars, multitools, and power tools.
 
Without a calculator I hope this doesnt go over. I would get a Spyderco Stretch and Blackhawk Crucible. I would also get i fixed blades a SOG seal pup, Fallkniveen A1 and a SOG powerlock multi tool.
 
My list, for my use. I'm counting on a separate multi-tool budget. ;)

ESEE-6 plus MOLLE sheath - $150
Bravo 1 plus leather sheath - $200
5-6 Moras - $100
Becker Necker - $50
Benchmade folder - $70
2 beater folders - $30

It's enough money to cover the basics. An extra $200 would be helpful though.
 
I'd get:

Spyderco Manix 2, for general work use - 80$
Victorinox Alox Pioneer, for daily/campus carry - 20$
Kershaw Cyclone, for use-and-abuse tasks - 30-40$
Kershaw Leek, as a gentleman's knife or light duty - 40-50$

That's what, less than 200$? $400 left over for scotch. ;)
