Just for fun $600 dollars limit now cover everything

this is kind of a tough question considering i have over $3000 worth of knifes on my "i want" list but ill give it a try

hard use:
zero tolerance 0300 - $185

gentleman's folder:
centofante 3 or kershaw leek - $50

big fixed blade for camping:
esee rc6 - $120

multi-tool:
leatherman wave - $80

beater knife:
spyderco tenacious - $33

and knives that i just would want to have with whats left over:
spyderco manix 2 - $70
kershaw jyd 2 - $60

subtotal = $598

this is my opinion of course. i know most people would probably want a sebenza or strider for their hard use knife but i love the look and feel of the 0300. same goes for all the other knives i listed

ZT0551-200ish
Al Mar Hawk Black Pearl - 200
Benchmade 15010 - 115
Case Stockman Indian Stag Handle-70
Spyderco Grasshopper- 15

ESEE Junglas $160 Chopping, slashing camp/yard knife
ESEE Izula $45 neck carry
Spyderco Sage1 $90 EDC pocket carry
Case Swayback jack $60 Church/funerals/weddings
Victorinox classic $15 on key chain
That leaves $230 for a 4"-6" fixed blade and a multi-tool.
Kitchen cutlery not included :)

Spyderco Military.
$130 (S30V version)

The rest would go to Busse for mid size (7") utility knife.
Something like this one.

Dunno. For me, I'd go for the Hinderer XM-18 3" flipper. REALLY want that one. And I'd be willing to trade my left testicle for one.

Standard EDC, covering everything but heavy use:

Spyderco Stretch with wood handle. 90 for the Stretch, another 50 for the handle.

Hard User: Fallkniven necker (80)

Outdoors fixed blade: Custom bushcrafter (150), machete(20), axe(50)

"Mini": Moki or Seki-Cut lockback (130)

For me, this setup would be (and for the most part is) perfect:

EDC that won't shock the easily shocked:
SAK - Vic Huntsman.............................................$25

EDC money clip and heavier use:
Ka-Bar Dozier folding hunter....................................30

EDC (more or less) fixed blade:
Ka-Bar Becker BK-11.............................................30

Jack of all trades:
Ka-Bar Becker BK-2...............................................55

Big knife (don't have this one yet):
Ka-Bar Becker BK-9...............................................70

Total cost.........................................................$210

Change.............................................................$390

So I could buy my perfect setup nearly three times over.

Oh yeah - you said pics...

Here are three of the five:

... and one more:

Don't have the BK-9 at the moment so my big knife niche is filled by (amongst others) the Ka-Bar kukri machete:

I'd give half the $600 to my wife (Household6) and use $100-$150 from a recent sale of a knife to pay Andrew Demko to make my folding kerambit.

Maybe a used Seb with a new M2 or M4 blade would stay under $600 far enough to allow a beater fixed blade. I think I could get by with that.

I like some of the (still available) 2009 LE Sebbies:

Only $560 for the small, so I have $40 left to spend on Extremely Urgent Overnight Shipping from Neil at TNK!

$615 for the large, so I'll kick in the extra $15 and wait for delivery.

- Victorinox alox Soldier/Pioneer
- Spyderco Stretch 2 CF
- Spyderco Military, liner lock version
- Chambriard Le Compagnon at the table
- Fallkniven F1, sturdy fixed blade

There would be money left.

using the current exchange rate, and local (UK) prices:
$600 = about £375
so:
I'm thinking I need: EDC folder, hard use folder, small FB, machete, large FB
therefore
EDC: victorinox huntsman (25.95)
hard use folder: ESEE Knives HEST F (135.00 pre-order)
small FB: ESEE knives HEST (99.95)
machete: cold steel 12" barong machete (15.98)
large FB: Ka-bar Becker utility (£87.95)

the remaining £10.17 would probably end up going towards sharpening gear.
