What do you think the most UN-sheeple friendly folders are that are under 4.5 inches? I thought this might be kinda interesting :P

I vote the Spec Bump or any fulley serrated Spydie. Both just look straight up evil.
 
the knife that i've noticed most non knife people showing undue fear of is the spyderco civilian.i'm guessing the curve in the blade reminds our subconcious of the days when long curved teeth and claws were a major concern,and something to fear.serrations tend to scare the sheep also.
 
Many Spyders remind me of a cute cartoon character that can transform itself into a razor toothed beast in an instant like this

I think Hawkbills also can cause some undue fear in Sheeple types

While we see a very utilitarian tool , they see a raptor wanting to rend thier flesh.
 
Of the knives that I have seen images of I think I would have to say the spyderco captian would rank near the top. I do agree that the curves are not sheeple friendly, but I would like to add spear points(they look so dagger like) to the unsheeple list. And also the loud thwak of opening a knife onehanded adds a lot to the fear factor.
 
Im think the civilian is a good example of a scary knife to some people...Any cheap fantasy style knife (crappy knives though...) I would say most people who don't like knives would not like to see balisongs or switchblades at all, nevermind scary looking folders...
 
I think any general butterfly or automatic knife would intimidate most sheeple as well.
 
I would put my number one vote on the Civilian, but add the Kershaw Offset to the list.

And if you want costom I think Pat Crawfords "Alien" Design. I cant even imagine having one in my pocket, much less using it.
 
Anything with more than one edge and a stilleto look. My favorite is my old CS survial-Rescue manual OTF, sheeple think you're a CIA assasin with that thing!

I work with a LOT of sheeple! Many have a dread fear of the tiny Boker Magnum Sub Com folder that I use as a keychain for my work ID. Sometimes, when feeling evil, I do a Crocodile Dundee "that's not a knife, THIS is a knife" routine, and ask them, "Really? Then what do you think of THIS?", and pull out whatever other knife I'm carrying, recently a Zero Tolerance 301.

No one has fainted.

Yet.

He quoted the phrase "UN-sheeple friendly", instead of "un-sheeple friendly", hence the association with the UN. It was a joke...

Although, with the UN's campaign to remove all small arms from the hands of civilians, it's not too far fetched...

You're welcome. But don't feel silly. Just look at how many people that grew up speaking English in this forum (and other forums) that can't write in English as well as you!
