For a smile, check out the "Going Clipless" thread in the Blade Discussion Forum.

Seems they've discovered that a knife doesn't have to have a clip!

Good for them, God bless 'em! The whole thing made me smile and I'm happy for those whippersnappers!:)

Carrying a knife loose in your pocket seems more feasible once you are too old to do cartwheels.

But it wás funny! And you should be proud, being funny without even trying to is a gift :D

I got a smile out of that thread. On a side note, a recent new job has me wearing dress slacks, and I have not bought dress pants in a few years ( maybe decades ). I found a coin pocket deep inside, near the bottom, of the regular pocket of almost every dress pants. Each pants' coin pocket is a little bit different shape. My challenge is to find the perfect fit of knife and coin pocket. Today, it's Barlow.

That was an interesting thread to be sure, marcinek. I have gone the other way. I was always clipless for the most part but have recently started to appreciate going clipped.
Here is my current EDC. A duct tape clip modified Case jack.:D

Rob, how much does a custom job like that cost?
I've got a bunch of knives I might want to upgrade! LOL!

Blues,

I gotta a bunch of clips I can send ya, but watch out for Rob. I hear his work is way expensive! (such a greedy soul that he is).

I just fell out of my chair, :D .

A duct tape clip modified Case jack.

You've got a flair for anachronism there Thomason...You know, if replace those jigged bone scales with G-10...replace the pen blade with a tanto...maybe "wave" the clip blade...spray paint 'em both black..

X-Treme Dark Spec Ops Tactical Case Jack!

Well, I've got one might be incoming from Rob today. Maybe he went whole hog and already modified it with a clip for me. Nothin' like a stag sodbuster with a duct tape clip. Talk about a SFO!!!

Excellent workmanship, Rob. You don’t see old world craftsmanship like that every day. (Probably because they didn’t have duct tape back in ye olde days.) You sir, are inspiration.

Bailing wire, good call Wildcat. Bailing wire will fix durn near anything if you use enough of it.
