Wow!! I love to see knives with real use like that - especially since that's an 80's knife so not even that old - can't read the number of dots but probably 1980-1983.

Case could probably reblade it since they currently make the pattern but the long spey i think is only made in stainless now. The clip is still made in CV.

looks like an'84 at the most most likely '80-'81
 
I posted a knife in this threads "clone" in Traditionals that's sort of on point, but off point at the same time! Check out "Old Reliables" in Traditionals thread, to see an old reliable of a different nature;)
 
This guy was used and abused, i'll see iff I can beathe new life into it. I took the old ulster in on trade worked out so I only have about $5 in it, handles are pretty trashed and the blade is a bit chipped on the edge, bolsters are a bit rough, but we'll see what I can do ;).
