Just got a few Ka-Bars and...

Bought a KBAR Bowie and thought the tip was too thin for hard work so I ordered a BK 7 and that is a serious knife. The BK2, 7 or 9 will do a fine job for just about anyones needs. They aren't fancy lad knives just hard working blades
