Just got a free Ontario Utilitac II

This should be in the gb&u.

I love knowing who unnecessarily shakes down people for free stuff.

I love knowing who is a person I would never do any business with as well, typically not whiners who follow members around trolling in all their threads acting all high and mighty and morally superior to others. If it should be in GB&U, I'm sure a "real" moderator will stop by and move the thread, not some poser.

Do let us know how that Utilitac II works out for you. Mine is a great value.

Utilitac arrived today. I like it, not overly impressed but it is a nice knife. It's lighter than I expected. The plastic/nylon scales give it a cheaper than it is feel, at least to me. Action is good, lock up is good, blade is solid and centered. I might modify the jimping on the grip/liners to meet flush with the jimping on the blade, it is uneven and feels odd.

I just finished flushing up the jimping, feels better now.

So your order didn't arrive in 2 days, you state that's OK ("I don't need my other orders in two days") yet you called them to complain and they give you a free $25 just to appease the inconvenience of your paid order not arriving at their estimated time during the busiest shipping season of the year and to you that's a gift?! And then you get online to brag about it?
You know amazon ships approximately 300 packages per second during the holiday rush, that's a huge load on their system and even bigger on USPS, cut them some slack...
At least it was amazon and not a real knife dealer (site sponsor), curious if you would of done the same to a small time knife dealer or if you can justify it cause it's Amazon.

How much was the original order for?

Is this the new normal? Is it now OK to start calling every seller who's item doesn't arrive exactly on time and complaining till I get free stuff too?

If I did any selling here you'd make my ignore list, personally I wouldn't want to deal with buyers that feel entitled to free stuff cause of a slight shipping delay, especially during this time of year.

#move this to GBU and/or W&C please...
Agreed.
